When we face difficult moments or feel the stresses of others who are in conflict with us it is very easy to feel alone. At such moments it is good to remember we have a personal God. I can recall times when it seemed there was no one on my side, I felt like whatever I would do just wouldn’t be enough. In the midst of that I found I called on God more than in others. He was and always will be there.
We need to remember that when we call on Christ in salvation a family connection comes into existence. Not just forgiveness, but a whole new relationship. From that moment forward rest assured, we are not alone. The warmth and presence of God is something tangible that will comfort our hearts, lift our spirits and take us from and through the darkest moments into the sunshine of peace.
His hand is not short that it cannot save us or his ear closed that it will not listen. He will not only hear our prayers, He will respond to our needs.
